Two modes in one tool. Consumer mode — find laundromats near any address with hours, available services (24-hour, attended, WDF, drop-off), and direct contact information. Investor mode — same map view layered with CLEANBI scores, market gap analysis, demographic context, and the ability to score any location for laundromat opportunity. Most consumers use consumer mode; buyers, builders, and operators rely on investor mode.
What the Data Includes
Each mapped location includes: address, hours of operation, contact information, services offered (coin, card, WDF, drop-off, pickup-delivery), approximate machine count where known, and any operator-submitted detail. Investor-mode overlays add CLEANBI score, demographic context (population density, income, renter %), competition density (1-mile radius), and market gap signal.
How Operators Use the Locator
Existing operators run their own location through investor mode to validate CLEANBI score and identify the operating decisions (hours, services, WDF launch) that would lift their score. Buyers use it to triangulate any acquisition target against the surrounding competitive set. Builders use it to find market gaps where existing competition is weak or missing.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the consumer version free?
Yes. Consumer-mode laundromat search is completely free, no signup required. Investor mode requires a free WashBizHub account; full CLEANBI scoring on individual locations uses the credit system or premium subscription.
How current is the data?
Locations are validated quarterly through a combination of automated checks and operator self-reporting. New locations are added on an ongoing basis. Closed locations are removed within 30–60 days of closure detection. Coverage is strongest in metros and getting denser in rural areas.
Can I add my laundromat to the map?
Yes — operators can submit or claim their location through the operator portal to ensure accurate hours, services, and contact info. Operator-claimed locations get a verified badge in consumer view.
